Bland Richter represented a large regional homebuilder in 5 related claims in which the claimants were seeking in excess of $750,000 in damages, together with treble damages and attorney’s fees in accordance with South Carolina’s Unfair Trade Practices Act. The claims alleged similar construction defects, mold property damage, mold personal injury, depreciation and negative stigma impact.
